One of the highlights of this year’s Truffle Kerfuffle weekend is the Farmer’s Long Table Lunch on Sunday the 29th June. Taste of Balingup’s Katrina Lane has teamed up with three of Perth’s best chefs and they’ll be working with exquisite local produce to showcase the delights of fresh truffle!
Entrée presented by Kiren Mainwaring (Dear Friends and Co-Op Dining)
Slow cooked egg, savoury meringue, cauliflower puree, shaved cauliflower, hazelnuts, fresh truffle
Main Course presented by Joel Valvasori (Lalla Rookh)
Ricotta gnocchi, lamb and wild mushroom ragu, fresh truffle
Dessert presented by Sophie Budd (Taste Budds Cooking Studio)
Pink Lady, hazelnut and macadamia frangipane tart with clotted cream
Each course will be carefully matched with a regional wine…think Sparkling Pinot Noir, a seriously good basket pressed Pinot, and a delicious late picked Riesling.
