Our fabulous Balingup Saint Nicholas characters are ‘on the street’ and look as regal as ever!

Saint Nicholas, was a historic 4th-century Christian saint and Greek Bishop. Many miracles are attributed to him and he had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him, a practice celebrated on his feast day― St Nicholas Day – 6th December!

Our Dutch guests were delighted when they saw the larger than life Saint Nicholas characters in Town this week. St Nicolas Day is celebrated all over the Nederlands and they sent photos home to family and friends to let them know that they were thinking of them!
