The first stage of our Cottage renovations were completed in early April and we’re thrilled with the results! All of the Cottages now have new kitchens, bathrooms and floor coverings, and the reverse cycle air conditioning has been a welcome addition. And it’s amazing how a simple lick of paint gives it all a fresh feel!

Gum Nut Cottage is almost unrecognisable . . . push out a wall . . . add a good sized bedroom and a fabulous deck and you feel like you’re in a big, comfy ‘tree house’!

Even after a couple of months, it’s hard to imagine what the Cottages used to look like. All of the rustic wooden bench tops, the wood fires and the eclectic wooden furniture has been retained, so the Cottages have maintained their rustic, cosy feel!!!

So, . . . to all of you who ‘tolerated’ those quirky old shower cubicles . . . we thankyou sincerely for your patience . . . and invite you to return now to enjoy the best that Balingup Heights has to offer!

Indulge yourself in front of a warm fire on cold nights, take a walk and swish through a pile of fallen leaves . . . or just sit and watch the mist roll up the valley. The views from the Cottage balconies are as spectacular as ever . . . you feel as though you’re on top of the world.
