We recently had a unique experience here at Balingup Heights. We were contacted by Ross Metcalf from Media Buzz Online about filming a music video on our property. Ross was working with local Mandurah ‘indie rock’ band Indigo, to shoot a clip for their new song ‘Moving On’.

To quote Ross: “The story of the song is about an old man whom is missing his wife and in a quiet moment in his lounge spots a picture of the bicycle he was always mean to fix up for her, and it inspires him to dig it up from the shed and finally get it working. He comes to life again during this process and when it’s done, he takes it to the top of a hill to ride it down and relives that excitement.”

After two days of filming and many hours in the edit suite, Ross has come up with a terrific clip that showcases the emotion of the song and also shows off a bit of the magic of Balingup Heights.

It was a fun experience and we wish the Indigo lads all the best with their new song.
