Do you know where your Christmas ham has been?

Four weeks until Christmas . . . yeh . . . and we ordered our Ham today! We know that it will be absolutely delicious (because we had one last year) . . . and better still we’re really excited about being able to buy direct from talented and passionate local producers just ‘over the hill’ in Boyup Brook!

Peter and Cathy Bradford run Killara Open Range Pork situated near Boyup Brook in the South West of W.A. Their open-range pigs are run across 20 hectares of grassy paddocks year round. The pigs have shelter from the elements during summer and winter. They graze on various grasses and eat when they choose from feeders containing high quality feed grown on the farm.

The options are out there . . . do you ever ask yourself, ‘where your food comes from, and how it is produced’? Why not make an effort to buy from WA farmers and producers, many of whom source most (or all) of their ingredients locally.
