Perth Mix94.5FM morning radio celebs ‘Botica’s Bunch’ spent a day in Balingup as part of this year’s ‘Winter Staycation’ tour of the WA’s south west!

Fred, Lisa and Captain Paul along with ‘Ethel’ (what a crack up), the crew, and a group of 20 lucky winners were shown the best of Balingup. . . . well probably not at its best because we’ve received a absolute deluge over the last few days, and it’s been surprisingly warm so we weren’t able to turn on one of our spectacular mists either!

They were however treated to a delicious breakfast at the Taste of Balingup, . . . best coffee in the south west was the verdict . . . close encounters with the Medieval King & Queen plus one of the Knights who are all starting to ‘emerge’ for this year’s Balingup Medieval Carnival.

They had time to stroll through the town site fossicking in the quirky shops and galleries! We brought them up to our look out and then out to the Golden Valley Tree Park.

Several of the Bunch stayed with us here at Balingup Heights . . . Paul said he had the best sleep in a long while in Blythe Cottage!
