This year’s Balingup Small Farm Field Day was an outstanding success with over 10,000 visitors enjoying fine weather and a spectacular show !  It’s fabulous to be part of a small, energetic, resourceful community which pulls together to create such a wonderful event welcoming visitors from all over the State.

The Day encourages people from small farms and cottage industries to exhibit and sell their produce.  Over 300 stalls as well as information booths and various demonstrations were cleverly positioned into Balingup Recreation Centre and the adjoining sports oval. One of our guests said that the Small Farm Field Day gives them an opportunity to fantasise about their future of living the ‘good life’ on a small land holding in the beautiful Balingup region.
