One of our favourite events of the year is the wonderfully quirky Balingup Medieval Carnivale, held 22nd – 23rd August 2015.
The whole town takes on an atmosphere of a medieval village. The costumes are fabulous . . . the food and market stalls diverse . . . there’s loads of music and entertainment, see jousting, sword fighting . . and come along to the ‘burning of the dragon’ on Saturday evening.
This is a free event from 6pm onwards – it’s always different but think theatre, music, drumming and pyrotechnics!
